Available scholarships are awarded after a comparative evaluation and on the basis of the final rankings of successful candidates. They are awarded for the entire duration of the PhD program, provided that PhD Students maintain the proper requirements. Candidates who had previously received a scholarship to attend a doctoral program in Italy are not allowed to be awarded a new scholarship (in case of enrolment in a new PhD program).

 

The scholarship entitles the PhD student to:

• an annual scholarship of € 15.343 including the social security contributions that have to be paid by the PhD Student
• a 50% scholarship increase when staying abroad for research and studies, for a maximum stay of 18 months
• a travel allowance equal to 10% of the annual scholarship for the second and third year to cover the PhD Student mobility cost
